Well finally it’s almost time to start racing, having only competed in the Newport GP in May, it’s been a quite year. However there is light at the end of the tunnel, with British Cycling National Championships starting on the 21st of September, and with the amount of races I’m competing in it’s like I’m making up for lost time!
Day 1 – Team Sprint
Day 2 – 1km Time Trial (CWAD)
Day 3 – Flying 200m
Day 4 – 4km Pursuit (CWAD)
Day 5 – 4km Team Pursuit
As you can see, action packed!
Then I have a few weeks to prepare for the Europa Cup which is taking place in Kaarst Büttgen in Germany on October 15th and 16th, I’ll be taking part in the the Pursuit, Kilo and Team Sprint. Should be a good meet, and useful to race some of my main competitors less than 2 years out from London.
Had quite a few exciting meetings in the last few weeks and will hopefully be able to fill you in on some of my goings on! Also with a little help from my brother, I’m pleased to say that Adrian Flux Insurance will be sponsoring me by covering the cost of my car insurance, so big thanks to them.
Other than my racing I have a few appearances I’ll be making in the coming months.
18th September I’ll be at the Access Sport Bike Jam, for the finish of the tour of Britain, and then on the 10th October I’ll be at the Cycle Show on the British Cycling stand at Earls Court.
Think that’s all for now.
Catch you soon, happy cycling.
